Our Story
The Northern Social combines vibrant energy with a passion for music, making it Pontefract’s go-to destination for live performances and unforgettable nights. Born out of a vision to create a dedicated music venue, The Northern Social evolved from our experiences running The Mad Ox. Our mission is to enhance Pontefract’s entertainment scene by hosting outstanding events and supporting local talent, establishing ourselves as the heartbeat of the town’s live music culture.
