Our Story
The Northern Social blends quirky charm with comfort featuring cozy seating areas, furnished with up cycled furniture and original artwork. Our passion for local culture inspired us to evolve beyond a sports bar. While running The Mad Ox, we felt the need to bring a dedicated music venue to Pontefract, transforming The Northern Social into the up-and-coming music destination. Our commitment to enhancing Pontefract’s entertainment scene continues as we strive to host bigger and better events.
